Most students don’t plan anything in their February half term break (boring!). So instead of playing on the latest game release, hanging out at the park or staring at your social networks news feed, why not do something different? Visit another country, meet new people, try new food, experience a new culture and ultimately have the time of your life.

This February half term Gap Medics would like to invite you to join our Sixth Form Special in Tanzania. For just £890 you will stay in our very own Gap Medics house with lots of other sixth form students. The house is fully staffed which inclStudents having fun in the Morogoro House in Tanzania!udes a full time cook – perfect for trying new food and experiencing new flavours. Our extensive staff team will really make sure your placement runs smoothly and will organise evening activities to keep you busy, entertained and happy!

If you are in sixth form and hoping to apply to medical school – or have already applied – then our placements will give you that extra edge on other applicants, helping you to really stand out from the competition both on your personal statement and in interviews. This week-long medical shadowing programme will give you some amazing skills which will look great on your university application:

  • Shadowing a medical professional

You can choose from one of the dates below depending on which week works best with your schools half term:

  • 9th February – 15th February 2014
  • 16th February – 22nd February 2014
  • 23rd February – 1st March 2014
